Old Dominion Young Riders Endurance Clinic
The 2025 Old Dominion Young Riders Endurance Clinic is an incredible opportunity for aspiring
young riders to sharpen their skills, gain experience, and make connections with other young riders
who share the same passion.

This clinic is designed specifically for young riders/juniors aged from 13-21, and will feature
mounted lessons as well as educational lessons taught by top professionals.
​
Each young rider will be guided through various challenges, learning how to better communicate
with their horse, and improve overall performance throughout the week. Whether you're a beginner
or an experienced rider, this clinic will take your horsemanship to the next level.

This clinic is not only about improving your endurance performance but also about gaining personal insight while making connections and forming friendships within the endurance community.
The program is set up to focus on building each other up. Whether it's trail riding, lessons, or downtime, you will be with a tight group of riders, making it easy to build bonds and create lasting friendships.

Topics include - Nutrition, Emergency Management, Osteopathy, Balance, Goal setting, mindfulness, trail etiquette, pacing, ground work, hoof care, team building, trail obstacle course, and more!

COST:
$500/rider - includes overnight accommodations, 3 meals/snacks each day, lessons/instruction, field trip to Double C Farm
Q&A:
-Do I have to bring a horse?
No, we have generous horse owners who will loan a horse if you need one. We will ask you to fill out a questionnaire which will help to pair you with a horse that suits your abilities. You are welcome to bring your horse if you like. Proof of negative coggins and safe containment for field camping are required.

-What if I have to fly to attend?
We can work with you to arrange airport transportation from/to Reagan National Airport.
​
-Can my parents come along/help?
Yes, please!!!!! We need hands to organize people/horses, and assistance with meal prep/grilling.
This is a volunteer-run event, and it takes a village.
​
-What should I bring?
We will provide a packing list with your registration packet which will have some suggestions,
but attire is casual/comfortable. Helmets will be required for all mounted sessions.
​
-What if I don’t know anyone?
Don’t worry, that won’t last long. We are here to make friends and welcome everyone.
